Doors open 8AM, Race starts 10:30AM.
Entry fee is $0.50/car for all other race classes. Spectators welcome!

The LJLRC (Lincoln Johnny Lightning Race Club) is a full service diecast race club that meets once a month in Lincoln, Rhode Island. The club is open to all ages. Entry fee is $0.50/car. There is no admission fee for the monthly races. Spectators are welcome! Vendors are also welcome, please reach out to the club president Jeremy Morin for questions.
LJLRC gravity diecast racing
Featuring Derby Magic race tracks for downhill gravity racing, you can participate in any or all 10 race classes. The Kid’s Division race is exclusive to kids, but all other race classes are open to all ages. Each month spotlights a “Feature Race” that specifies a category of cars that can race (for example Electric Vehicles only, 5-packs team racing, Hot Wheels Winter Cars only). We also support vendor tables to buy, sell, and trade (please inquire). The club meets every 2nd Sunday of the month unless specified on the LJLRC Facebook page, where all updates are posted, including next month’s Feature Race category and other news.
Schedule:
- 8:00 AM: Doors open for registration
- 10:00 AM: Registration cutoff. Club meeting and announcements begin.
- 10:30 AM: Racing begins.
Prizes and Finals
First place winners of each race class are awarded medals in all race classes. Winners of each month will race against each other in December for the Finals. The winner of the Finals will receive the coveted Championship Cup for the year, and their car will be the Fastest Car of the Year! The champion will have their name and winning car engraved onto the Fastest Car Champions plaque, which is updated annually as per the LJLRC club tradition.
